What Kids Will Learn in These Classes?
- The kids will begin learning the Quran by starting with the basics of Arabic letters, including their proper pronunciation and makharij (articulation points).
- Gradually, they will learn the rules necessary for reading the Quran. This includes joining letters, understanding single and double Harakat (movements), Tanveen, Sukoon, Qalqalah, Mudood, and Lam Qamariyah and Shamsiyah.
- Once they are fluent in reading the Quran, the children will practice recitation and be encouraged to imitate the Qira’a (style of recitation) of their favorite reciter.
- Through this Quran course, children will learn all the rules of Tajweed, helping them avoid mistakes and develop a tone similar to that of native Arab readers.
