Frequently Asked Questions
1. Are the teachers certified to grant a Quran Ijazah?
Yes, absolutely. All our Tajweed and Ijazah tutors are highly qualified scholars holding an authentic Sanad connected directly to the Prophet (PBUH), with many being graduates of Al-Azhar University.
2. Do I need to have perfect recitation to start the Ijazah program?
Not necessarily. If you are not ready for the formal Ijazah track yet, our tutors will start you with Advanced Tajweed classes to perfect your pronunciation and rules until you confidently qualify for the Sanad program.
3. Do I have to turn my camera on for Tajweed and Ijazah classes?
While seeing your mouth movements helps the teacher correct your Makharij (articulation points), camera usage is strictly optional. Sisters can comfortably take their classes using voice only with our female scholars.
4. What if I have a busy schedule or family commitments?
We deeply understand the busy lives of our adult students and mothers. We offer highly flexible scheduling. If something comes up, just let your scholar know, and your class will be smoothly rescheduled.
5. Do you offer Ijazah in different Qira’at (recitations)?
Yes! We offer Ijazah in Hafs, Warsh, and the Ten Qira’at. Your certified scholar will carefully guide you through the specific Tajweed rules of your chosen recitation track.
6. Are the Ijazah classes one-on-one or in groups?
All our sessions are 1-to-1 private classes. This is essential for obtaining a Sanad, as it ensures the Sheikh or Sheikha listens to your recitation closely and corrects every single letter with complete focus.
7. Is there an age limit to earn an Ijazah?
Never. We have students earning their Sanad in their teens, and others in their 50s and beyond. It is never too late to master the words of Allah, and our scholars are trained to support adults with immense patience.
8. Do you provide study materials for advanced Tajweed?
Yes! We provide you with digital Tajweed charts, rule books, and tracking sheets for free. Upon successful completion of your program, you will also receive your formal, authenticated Ijazah certificate.
9. How long does it take to earn the Quran Ijazah?
It depends entirely on your starting level, pace, and whether you choose the memorization or recitation track. During your free trial, your tutor will evaluate your recitation and provide a personalized timeline.
10. Can I request to change my tutor if it’s not a fit?
Of course. Your comfort and academic progress are our priorities. If you feel the teaching style isn’t matching your learning pace, simply contact our support, and we will happily assign you a new certified scholar.
11. What happens during and after the free trial class?
During the trial, a certified scholar will evaluate your Tajweed level and discuss your Ijazah goals. There is no pressure and no automatic billing. If you continue, our premium plans start at just £7/hour.
